Vanity metrics (Facebook “likes", number of people on your list) are rampant in our space, but they don’t tell us much about the health and strength of our programs, or help us win campaigns. In this session, we’ll talk about what vanity metrics are and how to figure out what metrics to use instead. We’ll do a brief overview of Facebook and Google Analytics, and talk about how to get your organization’s leadership on board with new metrics.
